ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Lisle Township Road District for the following products and services for:
- Purchase one 1,000 gallon above-ground gas tank and one 2,500 gallon above-ground diesel tank and obtain OSFM dispensing permit.
- Remove two 8,000-gallon underground fuel storage tanks and perform all environmental required site work to comply with Illinois Code.
- Preparation of site for installation of one 1,000 gallon and one 2,500 gallon above ground fuel tanks.
- Install the two new above-ground tanks including all site preparation, new pad, electrical and safety bollards.
Sealed proposals must be delivered to 4719 Indiana Ave., Lisle, IL 60532 no later than 9:59am Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024. Sealed proposals will be
opened and read at 10:00am, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024 at 4719 Indiana Ave., Lisle, IL.
Bid packets may be obtained at above address between 8:00am and 2:30 pm or emailed via request at www.lisletownship.com, or by calling
630-964-0057.
Lisle Township Road District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities, irregularities or defects in a proposal
should it deem to be in the best interest of the Township to do so.

Lisle Township honors the people whose lands we now inhabit and are responsible for. Many different tribes moved through our area, most of which were the Algonquin people, which included the Potawatomi, Sauk, Fox, Ho-Chunk, Ojibwe, Odawa, Illiniwek, Miami, Kickapoo, Menominee, and Winnebago. We honor and celebrate the cultures, contributions, and resilience of the native peoples. Lisle Township Offices and the Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2024, in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day. Our offices will reopen on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
🦟Lisle Township has scheduled a community-wide adult mosquito control treatment beginning after dusk on the evening of August 28th, weather permitting. Residents who would like to report nuisance mosquito levels or sign up for advance notifications of scheduled adult control treatments may do so through Clarke’s online Resident Hotline: https://www.clarkeportal.com/hotline or by phone at 800-942-2555.
Lisle Township is excited to host our Back-to-School Supply Giveaway! The goal of our giveaway is to help ease the financial burden of the new school year for resident parents and to help students feel confident when they return to class with the necessary supplies.
Days: August 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 9th**

Where: Lisle Township Food Pantry at 4711 Indiana Ave., Lisle
We will be giving away pre-packed bags of school supplies for grades K-12 during Food Pantry distribution hours. You must be registered as a client with the Lisle Township Food Pantry to be eligible for the supply giveaway.
**School supplies will be given out on a first come first serve basis until they run out. Due to supply and demand, there will be a limit imposed of 2 pre-packed bags per family. We are unable to set aside or hold supplies for anyone.**

🦟Lisle Township has scheduled a community-wide adult mosquito control treatment beginning after dusk on the evening of July 30th, weather permitting. The application will be performed by Clarke Environmental, Lisle Township’s contracted mosquito management service provider. Treatments will be conducted using truck-mounted Ultra-Low-Volume (ULV) spray machines and products registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to improve outdoor comfort and combat mosquito-borne disease. Mosquito control treatments, applied correctly and using EPA-registered products, will not harm humans, pets, animals, or the environment and are an important practice for protecting the public from mosquito-borne diseases. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Article 6, Division 3, of the Illinois Highway Code (605 ILCS 5/6-301, et seq.), the Highway Commissioner of the Lisle Township Road District will hold a public consolidated Preliminary Meeting and Final Hearing at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, to examine an undeveloped portion of Palamino Drive described below, and to hear reasons for or against vacating a portion of that right-of-way. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING LISLE TOWNSHIP
A public hearing before the Supervisor and Board of Trustees of Lisle Township on the amended 2023-2024 appropriation ordinance will be held September 25, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Lisle Township Supervisor Offices, 4711 Indiana Ave., Lisle, Illinois. The proposed draft of the amended 2023-2024 appropriation ordinance of Lisle Township is available for public inspection at the Township Offices, 4711 Indiana Ave., Lisle, Illinois, and at the Office of the Township Clerk 2121 Ogden Ave., Lisle, Illinois, on or after August 23, 2023. After the public hearing and before final action is taken on the appropriation ordinance, the corporate authorities may revise, alter, increase, or decrease the items contained in the appropriation ordinance. Good Afternoon Lisle Township Community:
Over the past several months, the need for increased financial understanding and checks and balances became apparent to provide transparency and better options to the Board and the community. With this in mind, we are excited to announce a redelegation of duties to help strengthen our financial stewardship, expand services to the community, and improve our communication. As a strengthened township team, we are now able to grow services as promised to the community.
Linda Nayder & Associates will be doing the financial duties that require the most oversight, including payroll, accounts payable, budget, levy, and audit functions, and overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping. lnayder@nayder.com
Jerald Wolff will become the Operations Manager and maintain daily bookkeeping, overseen by Linda Nader & Associates. With his MBA and extensive background in management, he will manage employees, township programs, and the new transportation system. JeraldW@lisletownship.com
Lisa Rose will become the Director of Communications and Outreach. She will be responsible for the website, the FaceBook page, and the Township Newsletter. Due to her background in community organizing, she will be responsible for coordinating Township events and creating outreach programs to partner with nonprofits, governmental entities, and community organizations. Michelle Spadavecchia is the Director of General Assistance, an LSW with a Masters's in social work; she has several years of experience in case management and speaks fluent Spanish. She is also cross-trained as a passport agent. michelles@lisletownship.com
Joanna Vazquez Drexler, with a Master's in Social Work, is a part-time general assistance caseworker working to provide emergency assistance, general assistance, LIHEAP, Benefit Access, Passports and speaks fluent Spanish. joannad@lisletownship.com
Michelle Jasmer is the Executive Assistant and will provide administrative support to the Supervisor's office. She has a Master's in Social work and extensive experience in office administration. MichelleJ@lisletownship.com

They are also cross-trained in LIHEAP, Benefit Access and are passport agents.
We are very excited by these changes and feel the Board and community will see a more streamlined, efficient, transparent, and informative account of what their Township is doing.
