The Township Clerk is the keeper of all records of the Township, except those for active general assistance cases. The Clerk is charged with keeping accurate records of all meetings of the Township Board of Trustees and is responsible for calling roll for attendance and votes. The Clerk is also the local election authority for certain races and referendum, and takes in those petitions and nominating packages. In addition to the responsibility for maintaining the Township’s records, the Clerk also is the Officer for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

  • Committee co-chair for Wine, Women & Shoes to benefit Bridge Communities, which raises funds to help families transitioning from homelessness.

  • Lisle Economic Development Commission - Past member
  • Lisle Home and School Organization - President at each unit throughout 25 years
  • Facilitated a $15,000 grant for the Lisle Park District All-Inclusive Playground
  • Annually Funds Educational Scholarships for local students
  • Member of many task forces, committees and advisory boards. Audit/Finance, Investment Review, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Statewide Committees regarding taxes, blighted properties, crime free housing, government affairs.
Debbie has won countless awards and honors in her profession and for her volunteerism but her ultimate joy is her family and friends. Alongside her husband Steve, any time spent with her four grown children and five grandchildren is a cherished moment in time.
