Supervisor’s Office
The Supervisor’s Office is responsible for offering social services and general assistance programs. These services include Financial Assistance, Food Pantry, Jobs Program, Counseling Services, and Senior Services. Additionally, the Township partners with a variety of other agencies and non-profits that serve residents. The Supervisor is also responsible for oversight and administration of the Township and some basic services for residents in unincorporated areas such as garbage collection, recycling services, nuisance weed and grass control, and mosquito abatement.
Diane Hewitt has lived in Lisle Township for over 15 years in Downers Grove and unincorporated Lisle. She is a graduate of Benet Academy, and Truman State University with a Bachelor’s in History. She is lifelong student of public policy. She was an active community organizer and is a 16 year small business owner of BeClaws We Care Petsitting. She has been employed in a variety of fields from political consultant, to high school teacher, to manager at FedEx Ground all of which gives her a wide breadth of experience to the job.
She is an active member of a variety of groups like the NAACP, League of Women Voters and an active elected precinct committeeperson. She has a true passion for community service and helping to improve the lives of others in tangible ways.

Illinois law requires that homeowners keep their yard mowed to a height of no more than 8″ and that obnoxious weeds be removed.
